Number 1 is the first par four on the front. Off the tee, players must deal with the driving range
on the right and a number of bunkers on the left that catch those who pull their tee shot. Three wood
is certainly enough club off the tee because trying to reach this green is foolhardy. Lay up to the center
of the fairway. Be sure to gauge your club selection for the downhill approach. Two bunkers in front, and a grove
of trees to the right.
The 2nd hole is the first of the three par 5's. Heavy rough and out of bounds guard the left side
of the fairway. Drive and second shot to the right side of the fairway takes the bunkers out of play. Guard
against going too far right as heavy rough and grass bunkers may result in penalty. The green is extremely deep
with a low area in the middle, and protected by bunkers left and right.
Depending on which tees you play, the third can be an easy birdie or a welcoming par. Out of bounds
left makes your tee shot very important. The multiple tiered green can have some tricky pin placements
so try to get it close.
A drive to the left centre of the fairway will leave the best angle for approach to the green.
Too far left leaves a blind second shot out of deep rough. Green is well protected with a large bunker
front left, and smaller ones to the right and long. A large tier separates the back left portion of
the green.
A good driving hole with a generous landing area. Green provides a severe putting test with many subtle
breaks. Try to keep the ball below the hole on the approach shot to the green. Knocking the ball over the
green may result in a big number.
A character building par three often requiring a long iron or wood off the tee. Out of bounds
and rough guard the left side. Water awaites miss hits right, as well as a large bunker running front
to back along the right side of the green. Large green with a knob and ridge can make for a challenging putt.
A difficult driving hole, with bush and out of bounds left, trees right and a 150 - 180 yard forced carry
from the tee. Traps on the left are reachable off the tee, which will result in a difficult fairway bunker
shot. The green is will bunkered, and its four tiers can cause many putting headaches.
Another difficult driving hole with mounds, deep fescue and a grove of trees guarding the left side of the fairway.
Far right off the tee creates a long second shot out of the thick rough or an another grove of trees. Approach shot
must guard against going too far right to avoid the water hazard. Bunkers guard the front, left and right sides of the green that is
separated by a ridge running left to right across front mid portion.
This long par four, which plays up hill and often into the wind, requires both distance and accuracy off the tee.
Trees and a pond guard the right side of the fairway, and large fairway bunker and fescue defend the left. Closer to the green a
moon bunker on the right catches many errant approaches. The green is well protected by pot bunkers on the left that also creates a
very narrow access.
Out of bounds left and large trees lining the right side of the fairway. Marsh, trees and heavy rough on the right
can catch an errant second shot. Placement of the second shot to leave a short iron into the green is key. The green is
protected by a pot bunker and slopes a severely lack to front, with a knoll in the middle.
This long par four has deep fescue to the right and far left. A drive to the left centre
of the fairway shortens the hole considerably. Large trap left front of the green is difficult to see on
approach shot. Large green will protected by bunkers is divided by a large hump on the right side.
A drive to the left of centre fairway shortens second shot to the green. Too far left brings out of bounds and heavy rough into play.
Bunkers on the right and heavy rough pose hazard for longer drives. An elevated green is well guarded with bunkers, trees left
and heavy rough. Beware of out of bounds directly behind the green.
The longest par four on the course, requires avoiding the lateral hazard left and grove trees right off the tee. Closer to
the green the right side is guarded by grass mounds and a large bunker with brush and out of bounds to the left. A back left pin placement tucked
behind the bunker is especially tough. Course management plays a big roll have to avoid a big number. Par is a great score.
A short but challenging par four. Too far right off the tee and trees on the right will block approach shot to the green.
Fairway bunkers pose a hazard for tee shots left. A mid to short iron into the green rewards golfers who hit the middle of the fairway.
Bunkers left and right guard a narrow opening to a long two-tiered green. Two controlled shots can leave a great chance for a birdie!
Slightly elevated tee highlights this well bunkered green. A pot bunker guards a front right pin placement. Heavy
rough to the right usually results in a lost ball. Try to avoid chasing the pin here. A well placed mid to short iron to the
middle of the green is the right play.
A par five that requires three controlled consecutive shots. Tee shot must be right to avoid bunkers and water hazard on the left.
Second shot to wide fairway sets up approach shot to a long two-tiered green. Second shot too far right will find heavy rough or bunkers.
Grove of trees right of green penalizes errant approaches.
A very challenging par three protected by bunkers left and right and a pot bunker in front. Wind direction will dictate
club selection from wood to mid iron. Out of bounds lines the left and back fo the hole. Again a well-placed tee shot
to the middle of the green is the objective.
Left centre is the ideal tee shot. Deep fescue rough on the left will catch errant drives to the left. Tee shot to right
will result in a long second shot over water guarding right front of green. Mounds on left of green create a difficult chip
over a bunker. Green slopes back to front with discrete undulations.
